Who says that a winter wedding has to be held indoors? Getting married in the South has its perks, especially when the weather cooperates. For this month’s installation of our Style Made Simple series, we’ll show you how we can create a garden wedding for cooler seasons.

We’ve taken this gorgeous example from Carolin + Alan’s wedding last December. We began with a high-drama focal point for the vows: an archway dressed in crimson and gold florals, topped with a sparkling crystal chandelier. The ceremony seating added a unique touch with rustic benches, and our favorite detail: the throw blankets that kept guests cozy during the ceremony. It all came together to create an elegant, festive scene for the couple to say their I-Dos.
