I loved Lynne’s gentle peach, ivory, and gold tones as the backdrop to her incredibly vibrant florals, and the light draping was a perfect compliment to her Grecian style dress. Lovely! Many thanks to Richard Suter for sharing his photos with us.

Wild and Vintage | Jessie + Brandon | October 15
Ah, how much did I love Jessie’s style?! Some brides just wear and do vintage SO well – this girl could rock a birdcage veil! Jessie + Brandon and their families were so fun to work with that I was sad to see the end of the process. We wish them all the happiness in the world! And our thanks to Tyler Andrews for sharing their photos with us – we love having you around Tyler!
Love this shot – Tyler will be hand-developing the film version of it, which will look AMAZING! Sometimes you just can’t beat film. 
Rustic Romance | Jen + Phil | October 8
I can’t even say how much I loved this wedding and this couple – they are the BEST! Jen’s style is this amazing blend of rustic and elegance. There wasn’t a single thing she picked, from the dress to the linens to the burlap wrapped centerpieces, that I didn’t adore. Plus, she and Phil are just one of the sweetest and most goofy, fun couples I’ve ever gotten to work with! What a treat. Garden Glamour | Jennifer + Josh | June 19
Jennifer and Josh were married in June of 2010 at a lovely ceremony at Parish Presbyterian chapel, just a few blocks from CJ’s. Then they walked our way, New Orleans style, for a smashing garden reception! I just loved their style – totally glamorous but understated, with all the right special details. Sparkling Summer Style| Rachel + Roger | June 11
Rachel + Roger = a gorgeous couple with fantastic style! I loved their color scheme – bright summery raspberry and plum, and tons of sparkle. Rachel’s dad made several batches of homemade wines to accompany their fun menu by A Catered Affair – a fondue station, slider bar, and french fry station, and more! Guests danced the night away under Blue Nova’s stunning Grand Chandelier to the sounds of The Downtown Band, which was a huge hit!

Summer Love | Michelle + Kelly | June 4
What a perfectly bright, happy wedding this was! The summer pink gerber daisies were ideal for the light, relaxed feel Michelle & Kelly wanted, and I absolutely LOVED that Michelle brought a second summer dress to wear for the reception. A comfortable bride is a happy bride!

Vineyard Vows | Melissa + Neil | April 16
This was the day of Wine & Roses! Such a beautiful vineyard inspired palette which our florist Caprice dressed perfectly with decadent amounts of roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, and even fresh grapes. Our many thanks to Jen and Ann of The Photographix for sharing their photos with us!
Intimate Indoor Dinner | Tiffany + Jimmy | February 20
While most people accurately think of CJ’s Off the Square as an outdoor venue primarily used Spring through Fall, some of our favorite events actually take place in the Winter! That’s the case with this intimate dinner for 12 adults and 6 children hosted after Tiffany and Jimmy’s small ceremony at Scarritt Bennett’s Skinner Chapel. A lovely three course meal of salad, soup, and salmon for the adults, and even a special PB&J salad for the little ones.
The Dining Room simply sparkled with light between the chandeliers, mirrors, and candles, enhanced by beautiful green cymbidium orchids arranged by our fabulous Caprice.
