Is liability insurance included in the rental fee?
CJ’s Off the Square is committed to safety and our staff will do everything we can to ensure a safe and happy event for all of your guests. All vendors, whether employed by the client or CJ’s Off the Square, must provide proof of insurance and applicable licenses. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen property while on the premises and do not cover any losses incurred by our clients or vendors. If liability is a concern for you, we recommend you retain an event insurance policy with the appropriate coverage.
Do you provide valet?
Valet parking is available for any size event and required for all events over 40 people.
What is the deposit?
50% of the balance is due plus a $500 security deposit upon signing the event contract. The remaining 50% is due 90 days prior to your event. The security deposit is refundable based on the condition of the premises within the month following your event. Should you have to cancel your event, only the security deposit is refundable. However, we will do our best to reschedule your event at your request within one year of the original event date.
Are gratuities included?
No gratuity is included so you are welcome to tip at your own discretion.
What is the last day for a final guest count?
Final head counts are due 14 days in advance of your event date. All changes made after this time are subject to a 20% change fee.
Will someone be there to supervise the event?
All events planned with our event services will have the full attention and dedication of our events team from the moment your sign your contract until the last guest leaves on the day of your event. It is our goal to provide superior service and attention to detail at every turn so you can relax and enjoy the evening. If you choose to bring your own coordinator or vendors, it is your responsibility to work with them directly to abide by the terms of your contract.
