May is one of our favorite months here at CJ's and, this May 12th wedding was no exception to the beautiful weather and festive atmosphere. At half past five, Jennifer and Steve welcomed 80 guests to a garden wedding in Historic Downtown Franklin. The bride carried a lovely bouquet of peonies, roses, tulips, and cosmos, and the garden was draped in flowers of pinks and peaches while a classical string quartet played.
The reception menu included passed hors d' oeuvres of Lobster Tartlets and Asparagus Crisps and a buffet dinner including Chicken Marsala and Gnocchi.
Being Mother's Day weekend, the new couple chose to honor their mothers by presenting them with roses after heartwarming toasts.
A live five piece band entertained the crowd and the dance floor was packed for hours. When feet grew sore, guests took rides in the available pedicabs from the Franklin Pedicab Company.
As the evening drew to a close, the newlyweds waved goodbye to their remaining guests from the Rolls Royce whisking them away.
