What a fun wedding this was! Kellie + Carl have such charming personalities and the look of their wedding matched them perfectly – bright, energetic, and elegant! Best of 2012 | Bridesmaid Dresses
Here they are, our favorite bridesmaids dresses of last year! Clearly, purple and pink were very popular, and for good reason. I also really loved how so many brides let their bridesmaids choose their own dresses and accessories within a given color palette so that each person could look beautiful and express their own personal style. What a difference that can make! Can’t wait to see what this year brings!
Relaxed and Rustic | Lindsey + Graham | July 27
On a warm summer day, Lindsey and Graham said “I Do” in the garden at CJ’s Off the Square. While Graham was stationed in Afghanistan, Lindsey worked with the team at CJ’s to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for the couple’s friends and family. Despite the high temperature, nothing was going to keep this group from having a great time. We love this pairing of navy blue with soft pink. Loads of rustic details like our whiskey barrel chandelier, wood chargers and vintage inspired chalkboards made this the perfect look for this laid back Southern couple.

We had so much fun planning an international wedding with sweet Ashleigh + Clay, who live in Bermuda. It was such a treat to gather their friends and family here in the South for a celebration of their love, and the couple looked simply smashing dancing the night away. Weddings just don’t get much more fun than this! Cassi + Shawn’s bold summer color scheme matched their fun and vibrant personalities so well, and the owl theme they used (a creature they both came to love through Shawn’s work with them at Auburn University) couldn’t have been any cuter and well executed. The Lighter Side of Fall | Style Ideas
We have so much fun coming up with the design and style for our Open Houses, and last fall was no exception! Ulmer Studios did a great job capturing that light, fresh fall look we were aiming for. Autumn weddings don’t always need to be the Harvest look or deep Jewel tones – you can keep it airy by using paler versions like peach, copper, and baby blue with your wood and earth tones.
