James + Dani’s Elegant Rehearsal Dinner | November 2

What a treat is was to work with Sara Fried of Fete Nashville and her clients, the Bienvenus, for their elegant, formal rehearsal dinner last November. It was a beautiful evening with a delicious menu of Spinach Salad, Crab-topped Filet Mignon, and Flourless Chocolate Cake. Thanks to Erin Lee of The Collection for sharing these photos with us!

Soft and Sweet | Cait + Joel | October 12

Every wedding that we get to be a part of is a treat for us, but there’s nothing like getting to be host to the marriage of two of your dear friends, and that’s exactly what we got to do last October for sweet Cait + Joel! They have been close friends of mine for years and I was over the moon when they decided to gather their friends and family from across the country here at CJ’s to celebrate the next chapter of their life together. We had a wonderful time, and words can’t say how much I love Jessie Holloway’s amazing documentation of the day. What memories! Enjoy!

Peaches and Cream | Lauren + Charlie | September 16

Peach was the must-have color for 2012 – I simply swoon when I look at this wedding! Cynthia Michelle did a wonderful job capturing the sweet spirit of the day, with Lauren’s lovely style and Charlie’s handsome uniform.  I think Lauren may have had my favorite bouquet of the year with those delicious peach garden roses and anemones. Timeless Glamour | Rena + Andy | August 25

We were so excited to glam it up for Rena + Andy’s decadent August wedding, and knew that Paul Rowland‘s photos would more than do justice to the event. I can’t brag on Paul enough – he is simply one of the best photographers Tennessee has to offer! Rena and Andy are such a stylish couple and they knew exactly how to do the Black & White look right, keeping it both timeless and fresh. And I must compliment them on their wedding party – they surrounded themselves with such a fun, supportive group that they were laughing and smiling all day long! I think you’ll see what I mean!

All I can say is – WOW! Brandon Chesbro does it again. His absolutely beautiful photos of Chantel + Erich’s summer wedding and reception here at CJ’s Off the Square completely captured the fun and joyous occasion! They had such a cute style – I especially love the sunglasses they gave out as favors. As you can see, they were a hit all night long!

Soft Summer Romance | Sarah + Kalin | June 9

Sarah + Kalin were such a fantastic couple to plan with and we were incredibly excited when their wedding day finally arrived. They have so much style and are wonderfully in love. Just a joy to be around – we’ll miss them! Also, it was so good to have Eyeris Photography here at CJ’s again, and you can see why in her lovely photos!

Purple Perfection | Michele + Brad | June 23

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times – purple always looks incredible here at CJ’s Off the Square! The greens of the Garden and the whites of the Pavilion just compliment it perfectly. Jenna of JHenderson Studios is one of many photographers incorporating film into their work, in addition to digital images. I think the results are lovely – there is such a beautiful warmth to Michele + Brad’s portraits. Enjoy!

Timeless Garden Party | Laura + Steve | May 19

What a treat we have for you today! When Laura + Steve first visited CJ’s, we connected so well and couldn’t wait to get started planning the perfect garden wedding together. Their style is completely timeless and I knew it would be a night to remember! And of course, with Kristyn and Matt Hogan shooting, I knew the photographs would be as beautiful as the wedding itself. So glad we finally got to work together and we hope it will only be the first of many.

Spring 2012 Open House | Whiskey Whimsy!

Ok, maybe I had a little too much fun naming this blog post. I hope you will forgive me! :)

It was so fun to do a much more intimate version of our open house this spring on May 22nd. The evening provided a great opportunity for our booked CJ’s clients to familiarize themselves with the house menus, and understand what it feels like to attend an event here and flow through the property. Our vendor team outdid themselves yet again (they never disappoint!), and Jen & Chris Creed documented it all so beautifully. Thank you to all of the following for your outstanding work: Southern Events, The Enchanted Florist, Blue Tone Music, Nashville Event Lighting, Blue Nova Designs, Main Event Productions, and Viva Valet.

We’ll be highlighting the individual services and items over the coming weeks, but for now, enjoy all the scrumptious images!

Springtime Vintage | Rachel + Wes | April 21

You just don’t find couples sweeter and more in love than Rachel + Wes, and working with them and their designers and friends Lauren & Krista was delightful. As fondly as we remember the big day itself, our jaws dropped when we got to relive it through these photos by Jessie Holloway (who was unknown to us before this wedding, and we are so glad to have found her). It is very safe to say that we want to have her back SOON! Brides, take notice!
