Intimate Indoor Dinner | Tiffany + Jimmy | February 20

While most people accurately think of CJ’s Off the Square as an outdoor venue primarily used Spring through Fall, some of our favorite events actually take place in the Winter! That’s the case with this intimate dinner for 12 adults and 6 children hosted after Tiffany and Jimmy’s small ceremony at Scarritt Bennett’s Skinner Chapel. A lovely three course meal of salad, soup, and salmon for the adults, and even a special PB&J salad for the little ones.

The Dining Room simply sparkled with light between the chandeliers, mirrors, and candles, enhanced by beautiful green cymbidium orchids arranged by our fabulous Caprice.

Winter Events at CJ’s | December through March

One of the best features of our outdoor Pavilion is its capability to be enclosed and heated for Winter events for up to 100 guests for a seated event, or 75 if you need room for a dance floor. CJ’s also always offers a “Winter Discount” for events from Thanksgiving through March 31, since our perennial Gardens are not available in those months.

Enjoy these photos (taken by my own amateur hand – please forgive me!) from a recent February reception. The cream walls and warm lighting make for a great neutral space you can customize easily!

Winter Wedding at CJ’s Off the Square | Jess + Jason | February 4

Although CJ’s Off the Square is known for our lush and romantic southern garden, even winter can be magical when our design team gets going. We had the pleasure of working with country music star Jessica Harp to create her beautiful winter wedding back in February of 2007. Even with the chill outside, everyone was kept toasty inside our heated pavilion and the warmth of hundreds of candles, fantastic lighting and a whole lot of love made this a night to remember.
