Weddings just don’t get much more fun than this! Cassi + Shawn’s bold summer color scheme matched their fun and vibrant personalities so well, and the owl theme they used (a creature they both came to love through Shawn’s work with them at Auburn University) couldn’t have been any cuter and well executed. Our big thanks to Evin Photography for sharing these photos with us – so good to have her back here at CJ’s again!

Our thanks to Matt Andrews for sharing Miranda + Jarad’s summer wedding photos with us – it was so good to have him back at CJ’s! Miranda looked divine her ruffled gown and she and Jarad couldn’t take their eyes off of each other. Such a fun night!
Sarah + Kalin were such a fantastic couple to plan with and we were incredibly excited when their wedding day finally arrived. They have so much style and are wonderfully in love. Just a joy to be around – we’ll miss them! Also, it was so good to have Eyeris Photography here at CJ’s again, and you can see why in her lovely photos!

The American heat wave this summer was quite the experience, but Traci + Martin sure can show you how to have a gorgeous, fun wedding even when it’s 109 outside! If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times – purple always looks incredible here at CJ’s Off the Square! The greens of the Garden and the whites of the Pavilion just compliment it perfectly. Jenna of JHenderson Studios is one of many photographers incorporating film into their work, in addition to digital images. I think the results are lovely – there is such a beautiful warmth to Michele + Brad’s portraits. Enjoy!

Jennifer and Josh were married in June of 2010 at a lovely ceremony at Parish Presbyterian chapel, just a few blocks from CJ’s. Then they walked our way, New Orleans style, for a smashing garden reception! I just loved their style – totally glamorous but understated, with all the right special details. I can’t take my eyes off of Jennifer – she was so uniquely styled and utterly stunning. So fantastic – enjoy! Images by Gabriel Mellan and Laurel Pankratz.
Rachel + Roger = a gorgeous couple with fantastic style! I loved their color scheme – bright summery raspberry and plum, and tons of sparkle. Rachel’s dad made several batches of homemade wines to accompany their fun menu by A Catered Affair – a fondue station, slider bar, and french fry station, and more! Guests danced the night away under Blue Nova’s stunning Grand Chandelier to the sounds of The Downtown Band, which was a huge hit!

What a perfectly bright, happy wedding this was! The summer pink gerber daisies were ideal for the light, relaxed feel Michelle & Kelly wanted, and I absolutely LOVED that Michelle brought a second summer dress to wear for the reception. A comfortable bride is a happy bride!
