Glamorous Jewel Tones | Whitney + Collin | November 3
If you love sparkle and deep jewel tones as much as I do, you’re going to love this early November wedding! The rich colors were so delicious – as was the live action s’more station! Collin and his groomsmen looked so handsome in their kilts and the ceremony bagpipes were incredibly regal to hear. A beautiful day shot by JHenderson Studios!
Best of 2012 | Bridesmaid Dresses
Here they are, our favorite bridesmaids dresses of last year! Clearly, purple and pink were very popular, and for good reason. I also really loved how so many brides let their bridesmaids choose their own dresses and accessories within a given color palette so that each person could look beautiful and express their own personal style. What a difference that can make! Can’t wait to see what this year brings!

We had so much fun planning an international wedding with sweet Ashleigh + Clay, who live in Bermuda. It was such a treat to gather their friends and family here in the South for a celebration of their love, and the couple looked simply smashing dancing the night away. Our thanks to Matt Andrews for sharing Miranda + Jarad’s summer wedding photos with us – it was so good to have him back at CJ’s! Miranda looked divine her ruffled gown and she and Jarad couldn’t take their eyes off of each other. Such a fun night!

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times – purple always looks incredible here at CJ’s Off the Square! The greens of the Garden and the whites of the Pavilion just compliment it perfectly. Jenna of JHenderson Studios is one of many photographers incorporating film into their work, in addition to digital images. I think the results are lovely – there is such a beautiful warmth to Michele + Brad’s portraits. Enjoy!
